Reverend Joan Lyon
Ordained Minister
Rev. Joan became an ordained minister in May of 1999, and was co-founder of a prison ministry in Wisconsin, established in 1999, where she developed the
International Recovery Correspondence Course and actively taught within the
WI prison system since 2000. Her educational degree was in Therapeutic
Recreation, or reacreation for special populations, where she focused on
geriatrics.
Relocated to Lake Geneva, she and Rev. Michael are in the process of
formulating the Spirit of Charity Church and its outreach programs.

Reverend Michael Lyon
Ordained Minister
Rev. Michael's Masters degree is in Germanisk. He speaks German fluently
and lived in Europe as a highly successful businessman for many years. He
also was a member of the civilian US Forces in Europe where he was a "master
teacher" as he was called, for 9 years. He became an ordained minister in
1999, and co-founded a prison ministry in Wisconsin, where he developed the
International Recovery Correspondence Course, which he has actively taught
in the WI prison system since 2000. The primary thrust of the teaching was
the 12-Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, the New Testament and the healing
Light of complete God Dependency.
Rev. Michael currently also works as a chef , creating culinary delights for
all who know him. His present focus is on the 12-Step programs of recovery
which will be offered by the Church and on initiating the Charity Behind
Bars services.

Meet the Board

Jennifer Composono
Mrs. Jennifer Composono, of Chicago is our board member overseeing the Women and Children's program for the Church. Jennifer is an active real estate agent and mom of 3 small boys! She is very active in her community and children's school. Her desire to provide services for support and necessities to parents financially challenged is hearfelt. Slightly used toys, clothing, buggies and other needed items will be collected and donated to those in need.
